With your help, we aim to build a legacy, a Health & Wellbeing Hub for Black and global majority women that is open to the wider community.
Soul Purpose 360 was born from grief but had a simple yet radical idea: to help Black and global majority women to overcome personal obstacles and challenges and support them to contribute to their communities through their own personal growth. Today we are ’empowering Black women to thrive and lead communities’, and this has been the driving force behind each decision we make. Founded as a Community Interest Company, we’ve grown from what started as a vision of personal empowerment in individuals through coaching and mentoring, into a national movement.
For a long time, we’ve hoped for a space we can call our own, where workshops can be delivered and members can meet, build social networks, while also learning and growing together.
We’ve finally secured premises in the heart of Croydon! Our new home, Soul-Full, will host a Community Café, Wellness hub, Workspace and spaces for hire. A safe space for Black and global majority women and a welcoming space for the entire community, regardless of gender or race. Founder and CEO Palma Black said: “This is more than bricks and mortar, it’s about legacy, ownership and healing.”
What your support means
Your help will go directly toward:
- Delivering more coaching, mentoring and training workshops, staffing, and programmes.
- Fitting out the space so that it is warm and welcoming, to receive all our members and visitors.
- Increasing our visibility in the wider community through events, and offering other services such as Workspaces and Room Hire to local entrepreneurs, community groups and more. We’ll also focus on digital promotional and targeted marketing campaigns to widen our reach so that more local women who need us can find us easily.
- Contributing to the regeneration of Croydon borough and enabling residents to be a part of social change.
All of which will allow us to start confidently and sustainably, ploughing any additional revenue back into extending our programmes, to continue serving our community for many years to come. As a social enterprise, 100% of our profits are reinvested into the organisation.
